Hip Hip Hurray!!!

Woohoo!!! This time mummy and daddy bought me back to Dr. Tan for a follow up on my jaundice level and it has went down, all thanks to my grandma's traditional ways (bathing using a herb and sunbathing) that i don't have to suffer anymore using that stupid machine. Now i even had a personal "Carlsberg" chair that i can lay on to do my daily sunbathing. Its the first time mummy saw me taking the blood test and i could see the anxious and worry look on her face. Although its still painful for the second time, i am happy as i am healthy again and the most important thing is getting rid of the machine. Hip Hip Hurray!!!

Jaundice... -_-lll

There's an appointment today and its my first, with Dr. Tan at Kinder Clinic (Mount Alvernia medical centre) and its daddy who drove and Auntie Jessy who carried me. Mummy didn't tag along as she is still hurting badly with her stitches to the extend that she can't even sit up in an upright position. According to Dr. Tan, i am supposed to take a blood test on jaundice whereby they use a staple kind of thingy on my heels and a thin straw like thingy to take my blood. Its really painful and i screamed and shout like there's no tomorrow but its only a few seconds after almost everything is done. Straight away there's result and my jaundice level is very high but Dr. Tan didn't want me to stay into the hospital during Christmas so a machine was rented. I didn't like the machine as i must be blindfolded and stripped with only pampers on. During this period, my mummy's heart is very painful for me as after using the machine my skin turns very red and i keep screaming and crying during the process.

Home Sweet Home

Finally i can go home today, so much is in my thought while waiting for daddy to come fetch me. As there are a lot of patients checking out of the hospital wards, i only managed to reach home in the evening. Upon reaching home, i was greeted with no one at home and the first thing mummy introduce to me is our room with my playpen nicely done up. After 3 hours upon reaching home, i was crying non-stop and my poos looked very different. My parents are so nervous that they call up Dr. Terrence Tan to enquire about the possibilities that made my poos looked so "Blacky" and according to Dr. Tan, it may be due to my bottles not being properly sterilized. In order to prevent it from happening again, they had decided to get a sterilizer the next day. It really scare the poos out of me.

The Day I Was Born!

I ARRIVED, after 9 months in a cramp space and after 8 hours of induce labour which mummy went though. I was born today at Thomson Medical Centre by Dr. Adrian Woodworth (The first person that i saw). I am weighing at 3.44Kg and am not as big as mummy expected me to be as she had put on 20Kg when she is having me. To have a chubby me, she had been stuffing herself with all sorts of food without being superstitious (Some people had been telling her tons of food to avoid as some food may lead to bad behavior). My parents are very happy to welcome me and guess its because i am the first child that's why mummy seems more protective towards me kinda like separation anxiety. The first person who visits me is my mom's friend, Auntie Joanne with her kids Javian and Theryn. The ones who accompany me through half of the day besides my parents are my Uncle Nelson, Auntie Jessy, Auntie Jasmine, Uncle Ducky and Uncle Tin. Every time someone came and visit, daddy would be busy pushing me from the baby room to the ward and the ward back to the baby room and repeating the cycle a few times a day. I am glad to say that i am happy to arrive in this family as there are a lot of people who really loves me. :)
